Since our inception 5 years ago, The Baby Expo has achieved a number of milestones in terms of attracting an enormous interest from parents, expectant parents as well as baby product and services exhibitors. People come from far and near for a family fun filled day in order to learn about the things that make parenting fun and perhaps just a tad easier.

- The Baby Expo brand has three expos nationally in Joburg, Durban and Cape Town.
- We hold the Guinness World Record for “The Largest Gathering of Pregnant Women under One Roof”. We set the trend as the first exhibition ever to achieve this.
- Our phenomenal holistic growth has facilitated our changing names from being “Your Baby Show” to being “The Baby Expo”.
- 2008 was a year of many advancements and successes including being awarded the Silver PRISA (Public Relations Institute of South Africa) Prism Award at a glittering gala event.
- The Baby Expo Durban won ‘Best Exhibition of the Year 2007, 2008 and 2009’ (In the category 6001-12000sqm) at the Exhibition Association of South Africa (EXSA) awards.
- The Baby Expo Joburg, Durban and Cape Town are each officially the biggest baby exhibitions in terms of total exhibition spaced utilised.
- Has the privilege of having the largest number of brands exhibiting under one roof, unsurpassed by no one in the baby and parenting industry.
- In a period of just four years, The Baby Expo has established itself as a leader in the pregnancy, parenting and baby exhibition industry averaging a whopping 180 000 visitors nationally in a period of 4 years.
- The Baby Expo has become a launch pad for many new products and services which are now successful companies and brands in their own rights.
- In 2007 we secured over R10 Million worth of media coverage for our exhibitors.
- 34% of visitors at the Baby Expo Durban 2008 came from as far as the North and South Coasts, Pietermaritzburg and the Kwazulu-Natal Midlands.
- The exhibition in South Africa to have secured the exclusive rights to live Barney performances.
- The Baby Expo 2008 celebrated Barneys’ 20th birthday in song and dance.
