Our focus has always been on showcasing the very best and most exclusive products and services to our visitors, all intended to bring the fun back into parenting. It is with this commitment firmly in mind that our team of dedicated professionals put together an exhibition that answers all the parenting questions, delivers the exclusive goods and directs the way on the parenting journey. All of this is with you in mind, so that you as parents can spend more time with your children and less time worrying about the inconsequential things.
The Team Taking Care Of You And Your Baby’s Needs Are:
The mother of The Baby Expo and professional guru in the baby industry, Projeni Pather (Managing Director), created a whole new world for expectant parents when she created The Baby Expo in 2005. Projeni saw a gap in the market for parents who had a hunger for information and who didn’t have time to fight their way through a jargon jungle with unpronounceable terms and inexplicable technologies. Through hard work and sheer determination, she raised The Baby Expo along with her two children, to create Africa’s biggest and best child and parenting expo.
Naveen Pather is the heart behind the success of The Baby Expo, as the Director of Exposure Marketing and Communication he ensures that all runs smoothly at the expo. With his key experience in operations and business management, Naveen ensures that the brand performs at its best to guarantee professionalism of the highest standard.
Marketing Manager, Sandra Barcelos, may be a fun-loving girl off the exhibition scenes but as The Baby Expo’s authority on direct advertising and marketing, she takes her work very seriously. Sandra knows how to capture the hearts of their visitors and continuously evaluates and processes their information and feedback received. She is also known as the go-to-girl for any and all information regarding the general upkeep of our website, educational information and ensuring the very best workshops and information is given at our shows.
Our resident out of the box thinker and go-to-guy is PR Manager, Warren Murray. With his exceptional organisational skills, Warren is known for his insatiable commitment to only offer the best of the best to every visitor that walks through the doors of The Baby Expo. He pulls out all the stops to include the very best technologies, the finest products and services, and is the general point of contact for all customer care services.
The new kid-on-the block Nolitha Matshikiza has come on board as our Sponsorship and Events Manager. You will see her all over the show - with her signature smile and commanding clipboard. She will be managing all sponsorship activations as well as making sure all the wheels turn at the right speed for the running of our events. She hails from Cape Town and has a background in marketing and events management. As a mom herself, Nolitha understands just what is needed to successfully activate your brand to enquiring mothers.
Marita Le Roux, our sales guru responsible for selling stands at our expos and for providing any sales related information that potential or existing exhibitors may need, is The Baby Expo’s rock. She can be told that the world is coming to an end and will remain cool, calm and collected – ready to solve the problem. According to Marita stress is but another word in the dictionary so if you have any sales related enquiries, feel free to contact her at

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.
Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser.
The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
